The standard service covers the published route/route6 and PA-prefix ROA responsibilities for the covered standard product. Registry records, technical changes, and support can be added through a written Order.

These items can be customised by agreement or Order, including but not limited to reverse DNS, Geofeed, location records, Anycast, multiple origins, technical changes, and support.

What you maintain

Customers can maintain the records and configuration their network needs; SKNK handles the sponsorship relationship, application coordination, and PA-resource administration.

RIPE Database records

RIPE NCC operates the database. Customers maintain their own Access, organisation, contact, and maintainer records; SKNK provides setup guidance, handles the sponsoring-LIR side of the application and resource-registration coordination, and maintains the covered prefix's route/route6 object.

ASN application and assignment

SKNK prepares, submits, and follows up on the application. RIPE NCC independently decides under its policies whether to make the assignment, which is made to the approved End User.

IRR routing objects

The standard service includes creating and continuously maintaining the covered prefix's IRR route/route6 object. AS-SET follows the actual filtering need and available maintainer authority; IRR work for other resources follows each resource's scope.

BGP and live announcements

Customers choose upstreams, configure and operate BGP, and announce the prefix with the authorized origin ASN. SKNK does not provide BGP configuration, transit, or managed routing.

ROA for the SKNK PA /48

For a PA /48 from SKNK's LIR address space, SKNK controls RPKI authority and creates, maintains, or withdraws the ROA. Contact SKNK before changing the intended origin ASN; customers cannot modify this ROA themselves in the RIPE Portal.

Renewal and tax

Annual renewal and RIPE NCC fees

New orders remain renewal-protected while unsigned, incomplete or undelivered. Renewal at EUR 89 per year before tax follows the agreed manual process after delivery, with the disclosed price, applicable tax and cancellation arrangements. Stopping renewal preserves the current paid period and any withdrawal remedy. The current RIPE NCC ASN-related member charge is included in our price; RIPE NCC bills SKNK as the member. Historical subscriptions keep their original contract and billing settings.

VAT Information

Applicable VAT is added to the EUR 89 net annual fee. Stripe Tax supplies the standard calculation; a reviewed quotation supplies any explicitly adopted manual route. An eligible business VAT number may qualify for reverse charge. The final currency, tax and total are shown before payment.

The final tax-inclusive price is shown before payment; any adopted manual tax route is disclosed in the reviewed quotation.

Resource and service end

PA versus PI

The /48 is Provider Aggregatable (PA) space assigned from SKNK's LIR allocation. It may be announced through an accepting upstream with the authorized origin ASN, but it is not independent of SKNK: it cannot simply move to another sponsor with the same addresses, and ending the service normally requires withdrawal and renumbering. IPv6 PI is a separate independent-resource request with different eligibility, contracts, and fees.

RPKI for your PA prefix

Because the IPv6 PA /48 comes from Provider Aggregatable address space held by SKNK's LIR, RPKI authority for that resource is controlled by SKNK. SKNK creates, maintains, and withdraws the associated Route Origin Authorization (ROA). Customers have a right to use the prefix, but do not directly hold the RIPE NCC resource certificate and therefore cannot independently manage its ROA in the RIPE NCC Portal. Contact SKNK before changing the intended origin ASN.

Application and refunds

RIPE NCC Application & Refunds

New orders carry EUR 0 setup and EUR 89 net annual maintenance. If both parties do not form the contract in time, an application is rejected, or cancellation occurs before formation, the entire advance including tax is returned under the disclosed deadlines. A RIPE rejection receives the applicable full-refund remedy.

Please note: The RIPE NCC sponsored-ASN fee is a cost paid by SKNK and is included in our price. It does not reduce the full original tax-inclusive refund promised for a valid statutory withdrawal, including after actual RIPE transmission. Ordinary business cancellation after actual transmission remains subject to the identified contract and mandatory rights.
